Having started out as a resident make-up artist in Beverly Hills, Uzo was quickly recognized in Allure Magazine’s Directory of Makeup Artists as “One of the Best Makeup Lessons from Beverly Hills to Broadway”.  Her work has been featured in Vanity Fair, Elle, Essence, WWD, Time, Complex, Details, Grey, A Magazine, T Magazine NY Times Style Magazine, FHM, Entertainment Weekly and The Los Angeles Times. As an in-demand authority, Uzo has also contributed her red carpet and beauty expertise to  InStyle,  US Weekly, OK!, Grazia , Life & Style, In Touch , Fitness, Shape, Ebony , Teen Vogue, People Style Watch and television shows  NBC’s Access Hollywood and Extra, E! Entertainment Television and FOX’s Good Day LA.

Both on the red carpet and for editorial shoots, Uzo has worked with Naomi Campbell, Drew Barrymore, Kirsten Dunst, Elle Fanning, Rashida Jones, Naomie Harris, Nicki Minaj, FKA Twigs, Andie MacDowell, Beverly Johnson, Stella Tennant, Goldie Hawn and Olivia Munn to name a few.

Uzo has created looks for designers at New York Fashion Week including Tanya Taylor, Carmen Marc Valvo, Daryl K, Tia Cibani, Juicy Couture  and Michael Costello.  At Marc Jacobs, she is a vital part of the backstage team working alongside Francois Nars, Founder and Creative Director of NARS Cosmetics.

Uzo’s personable nature, talent and understanding of Francois Nars’ trademark style makes her an integral part of NARS Cosmetics in her role as International Lead Makeup Artist in the US, Asia and Europe and she is also presently represented by Tracey Mattingly Agency in Los Angeles and NY.
